Called my phone and left a message for my fiance. Wanted address and work info. He's been in the hospital for the past 5 months after an accident that paralyzed him. I called the 800 number left for him to call back about the claim to see what company or something was mentioned answering the phone, get an idea about who and what this is about. I couldn't hear what the guy said so I asked him to please repeat himself. He got an attitude saying i called him. Yes I did and I want to know who you're with. I thought he said united but he had an attitude the whole time speaking to me I wasn't sure. After reading these definitely united. When I asked him what are you guys debt collectors or something he said he couldn't give me any information about my fiance but yet he couldn't tell me what kind of company they were at all period and didn't want to repeat telling me the name of who he works for either. When I said ok how you said that I'm guessing debt collectors he told me well you can think that and hung up on me. The actual person who left me a message called fiance phone right after that dude hung up on me and said you must be Misty. So he knew who I was but yet no information that could let me know not a scam at all would be given to me. I told him they're more than welcome to drop papers off in our mailbox and I will make sure he gets to look at them at the hospital. He was going to tell other party and see how they wanted to proceed. The whole thing was pretty shady since simple answers not giving me information about what it's about but who you work for, why do you know who I am and you called my phone first about it, and didn't like my answer to drop it in the mailbox. Didn't you say you wanted our address? Shady

Threatened to send sheriff for obstruction of justice (Scam call) reported by


Asked for telephone number of someone I haven't seen or talked to in years because he owed them money. The caller threatened to send the local sheriff for "obstruction of justice" when I told them I had no idea where the person is and don't have a number for him. I called their number, but they did not answer. I reported this to the police department mentioned who said this isn't an uncommon call.

Called my mom saying they were looking for me and were at my door to serve papers to me but no one was answering they said they didn't want to come to my work to serve me the papers gave me a case number and all did all kinds of research but found nothing on this company which they called them selves "united" they are calling like everyone in my family idk I call bs.
