it was a robocall where it was said "it is call from IRS tax sevices". They ostensibly found serios allegations in my tax return documents and I should call them back to discuss this case before they send local police to arrest me".

This number called me twice today and both times I did not answer because I did not recognize the number. Both times a voice mail message was left that said I had "serious allegations pressed upon my name" and I should call them back to discuss this case before they took legal action against me. I knew it was a scam but I blocked my number and returned the call. Cyrus answered the phone and I asked who it was who left the garbled message. Cyrus identified them as the IRS. When I asked what did I owe the IRS, Cyrus didn't even ask me for any information, he just hung up! Do not give these people any information about yourself. Instead report them to everyone and anyone that you can think of.

This was an automated number telling me that I will be arrested in 24 hours by the local police due to IRS filings. The IRS does not call you, they will send you letters in the mail. Be safe people.
