Called about our upcoming office move. We have no plans of moving. The woman who called introduced herself as "Jen" and insisted that someone from our company contacted them/her about a move. Was insistent. We told her she must have some bad information, or is simply calling the wrong business. I googled Business Connection Group and found this page of people complaining about the same type of call we got. It is clearly a scam of some type.

A lady named "Kate Garcia" who finally gave me her "name" and a call back # of 800-490-1790 called saying that someone from our office inquired on their website about "how to move an office" and she wanted to know when we would be moving and wanted to get the # of poeple moving and speak with someone about this. I told her I didn't know if or when we were moving and had no idea how many people. I asked her several times for her name and # so the owner could call her back when he got into the office and she kept asking for his name and #. I told her I wanted hers so she finally gave me the above info but she deginately did not sound like a woman who would have the name "Kate Garcia".

Caller ID said Lansdowne PA. Male said he wanted to send me a relocation package and I told him that I have told them several times that we are not moving and to remove us from their calling list. I am now keeping a log of when they call so that I can turn them in to the authorities for not removing my number within 30 days.

Called to verify our address for an impending move I know for a fact we're not doing, and so she could send us a "packet". When I pressed her to ask which business she was intending to contact, she just kept repeating the address she was trying to verify. She hung up after I told her that her information was incorrect.

A man called and failed to introduce himself, he wanted to know about our office plans for an upcoming move. I asked him to repeat himself and he stated that our office was moving out of a building at x address, I told him that I was unaware of the move and he hung up on me.

Was a little iffy about answering the call as I know that 610 is not in our area (We are in Canada). Woman on other line spoke fast and rudely asked if this was the location at (gave cross streets) Told her this was head office, did not confirm address, she said she was calling in regards to our recent move or opening of a new branch. I knew there was no way we would be moving because we are a small business struggling to get back after being closed down for 4 months due to COVID and we have no plans to expand in the near future. She again asked about us moving and wanted some information, I laughed and said there was no way we were moving, she hung up.

Called 05/27/20 asking about our upcoming office move. I advised the woman on the phone that she is clearly running a scam and I will report them to the police. She said that someone from our office asked for information from them. I asked who? She didn't have the name. I repeatedly told her to not call our office again, we know they are scammers and I have advised 100+ employees about these calls.

Comes identified as Lansdowne, PA on caller ID. Multiple calls every day, mostly silent calls/hangups. Have spoken twice to a person. Both times, they were trying to verify our address because they'd received a request about our impending move. When I would not verify and indicated no such request has been made, the person speaks over me to finish script, then hangs up.

They called about our upcoming move, which is not happening. When I told her that we are not moving and to remove us from their list, she asked if we were opening a branch. I told her to just remove us from their list. She immediately hung up. I tried to call that number back and the recording told me that the number was not in use. Got this call in Canada! A male introduced himself as Steve from Business Connections said that he talked to the owner of the company last week (provided correct name, probably got it from our web page). Asked for owner's contact to send some additional information. It sounded fishy as I am the office manager and i would be the first one to know if we are moving and i would be the one talking to moving companies, not the President of the company. I asked for his number to call back and got some 1-800 number. Never tried to call it back. "Steve" is probably new because he was just mildly pushy and backed off pretty quickly.

Called about our upcoming office move. We have no plans of moving, and if we did, all services would come from the home office in IL. I asked who the "request" came from, and he gave me the name Gavin Wilcox. No idea who that is, probably made up. This is a small State Farm agency with only the agent and 4 staff members.

The same experience here - Female caller spoke rapidly and asked to verify our moving requirements for a new location. We moved six years ago. We are not expanding to another location nor are we looking for a new location. I told her no thank you and hung up. They call daily.

02/06/2020 Mark called to confirm we are moving. Stated that someone left info online & she is calling back for more info. Wouldn't put call through. 02/07/2020 Ken called. They never give their last name. He tried to say he was calling to discuss the guidelines for upcoming move. Said he rec'd info from employee. When I kept asking who, the name he gave was someone gone 5 yrs. Wouldn't give any info for us to contact him but said he would call back. SCAM!

Was fishing for a name in connection with a move, however my company is not moving, when I asked the lady for her name and number so someone could get back to her she hung up. Was very persistent in wanting a name.
