When logging in to your bank acct online, you are asked to allow either a text or voice call to you at your number you stored online with your bank. the call or text asks you to use the provided code (by phone you are asked to push # or other to get the code, by text it shows in the text. You need to enter the code you are given into your online login page to access your acct online. If you are getting these calls without attempting to sign in to your online banking, it very well may be someone is trying to access your account without your knowledge. This call will protect you from that happening.

That's because it's from a bank login attempt. Someone may have been trying to access your bank account. if you are signing in online, you sometimes have to verify who you are by selecting to have a text or voice call made to you from the bank at a number you have stored online, so if someone other than you made an attempt to logion to your acct, you would get the message with a code that would allow you to login.
