He texted me from this number after 9 pm asking, "are you a realtor?" I did not respond as I had not gotten a lead from anywhere, especially not from that number, and I got another text message about an hour later repeating the same question, and I still did not respond. I decided to Google the number, found this, and thankg goodness I did. I'm noticing there's a lot of women being specifically targeted. I will be blocking the number.

Just happened to me, being a creep asking am I a realtor questions, wouldn’t answer my questions at all, the. Kept asking for cash app and getting nasty. I told him I googled his number and know all about his harassing texts. He then started calling me names. Blocked his number.

called asking if I was a realtor about property he found on zillow around 9pm or so. he called from blocked number but I assumed he didnt want to put his number into a website and have it sold as a lead. scheduled time to speak next day and exchanged info. next day he wasn't available rescheduled. 2 days later he called and we started buyer consultation. a few red flags went off as I was asking questions and then I asked how he found me and he said linked in so I searched him and couldn't find him. then I searched the number and found this and called him out. he said they were old or whatever. ended up hanging up and asked him not to call or text me. he said I shouldn't be accusing him of such things. I told him he was blocked he gave me the bird via text and I blocked him. waste of time. creep. did not ask me to do weird things but was very creepy overall!

Alright. So he texted me as well "Hi are you a realtor" really strange I just did my generic advertisement offering him to sign up for my monthly updates and if he was a local homeowner. To which he said yes. But it was really weird. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but when we spoke on the phone he said his name was Anthony Jonatha and in text he said AJ but email [email protected] I did my buyer interview, he said he was transferring from Virginia which obviously does not match up with being local. Then he asked me my name. After contacting me. That's when I thought he must be mass sending these out. I even put the number through our associations safety app and it came back with nothing neither did his name. So SCAM, he is now blocked. And he answered all my questions really slowly j was afraid he was wasting time to hack into my phone. I told him to send me his pre approval and I'd get back to him. This all happened within the last ,30 minutes. Definitely mass sending these out to see who he can get. I work for a large company, and they are constantly sending out reminders so go with your gut. No weirdos and no scams. Also this number is not an actual number to my knowledge so he's using some program to get it to show as the number. He also said he had 10% down and was a sales associate because these are all questions for my interview sheet but his answers just didn't match up the more I wrote. SCAM

Omar first texted me asking real estate questions and I was happy to help but then when he called, he wanted me to talk really slow and he said he was looking up a house on Zillow, but the connection was bad so I explained he could call me when he had better service and he asked if I could say on the phone while to looked and if I could keep talking. He called and texted late at night and asked the same questions as all others had experienced “are you a realtor?” “Looking to buy.” Then starting saying I have pretty glasses. I got suspicious and ended the call. Saw all these messages and blocked the number on all apps and phone.

This guy Omar calls me and said he found me on Instagram. I said I don’t share my number on Instagram only for business purposes. He kept saying he knows me. I don’t know him at all. I hung up on him (no caller ID) then he calls back again and I ignore it. He sent a text saying “you **** **** don’t hang up on me, I’ll find you” I said “blocked” then I blocked him and he tried to contact me via WhatsApp so I blocked him there too. Called through on line real estate ad...Omar was hard to hear but was trying to send me information but nothing was sent. Wanted to keep me on the phone. I got his email and this number as reported. Nothing has been sent. I said I would call him when I receive his information. He started texting me that I should apologize for hanging up on him. Texted me again to say sorry. So I blocked him. So glad I'm seeing this post!

The first form of contact was on instagram, his user name is browniemango6 with only his profile photo. Really glad I found this page.

I agreed to a Facetime appointment during business hours and he asked why... i just ignored until they agreed to Facetime during business hours, I did some research on the phone number and found all of this. He said his name was AJ and his home was ‘on the Zillows’. He kept asking if my real estate partner was with me and asked me if I would kiss her on camera for $350k each. Total creep.

First I received a hangup call from a blocked number, then this number immediately text me asking if I was a Realtor. I said yes and they asked to facetime. I said no and then they repeatedly asked for my cash app. A quick google search pulled up all these complaints so I blocked the number.

I received a text from this number late in the evening, inquiring if I was a Realtor. Out of common courtesy I answered, and expressed that I would be happy to talk to him the following morning. He got persistent about speaking that late evening. Which was a red flag to me. Anyway, the conversation ended after 3 attempts to get me on the phone that evening. It ended with we'll speak tomorrow at a proper business hour... They texted me the next morning with an urgency to speak with me. I was at a showing...so I offered to pass his number to associate who was available. He was adamant with speaking to only me as soon as I was available... So I decided to look the number up...and found this whole thread on similar scenarios... Really creepy people out there!

Said he found me on google as a realtor. Asked if I could stay on the phone while he emailed me properties. I asked him the typical intake calls but he was evasive. I did not receive any emails. He then told me my name was pretty and he liked my instagram profile. I got off the phone quickly. He texted me back asking if I could talk later. I blocked him.

Yer wacko! Wanted to talk “slow” and was always whispering. I see that he has called many Realtors, as he figures that all are greedy and quite possibly rich ( common perception), so will always get an answer so he can do whatever he does while speaking or listening to the person that was called. Had same experience as a few of the comments here. Texted me out of the blue and asked me if I was a Realtor which I responded yes because often times we get leads online or from other sources that call or text out of the blue and we don’t have the number saved. You didn’t ask me if we could FaceTime to discuss the property. I asked him what his name was and what property he was interested in, he did not supply either and just said it was on Zillow. I said sure we can discuss it what is the property so I can pull up the information, then he responded saying should I FaceTime you tomorrow. At that point I started getting suspicious. I said I had a busy day tomorrow and unless we set a time and they give me a name and a property address then it will be pointless. Then I Googled the number and found this thread at which point I blocked the number and notified my real estate team. As a woman in real estate it’s tough enough juggling this job but then to have to have time wasted and personal safety and comfort disrupted by creeps like this with little recourse is infuriating!!!

Text asking if I was realtor, I replied yes and then he repeatedly asked when I could meet him. He called me on FaceTime and I had my husband answer. He quickly hung up and started texting threat after threat to my husband and I. Very scary and he needs to be stopped. I have saved all the texts from him and was able to screen shot a picture of his face when he first called. I am concerned since I AM in fact a realtor and have seen him contacting other realtors. its very likely he could to do harm to someone if they don’t do research before meeting with him. Beware!!!
