act like USPTO trademark agency calling, asked 425 to issue TM (Scam call) reported by


Fraud caller. Present themselves like USPTO agency for my recent application submission. False promise to issue TM within 4 days of trademark submission and asked 425 fee to speed up the process. I refused she threatened to delay the process for 7/8 months. i knew this is the normal time for my application. many red flags i refused straight upfront.

Pretended from USPTO office,had all my publicly available info and wanted $425 as additional fee;Their tactics are very elaborate so folks without patent lawyer beware,DO NOT SHARE YOUR CARD INFORMATION at any cost.JUST HANG UP THE PHONE.

This is a scammer trying to take money. They said they were from the patent office but as I worked with them they had the right info but knew nothing more then the info on my application. It was clear they only call people that do nto have a patent attorney, which they confirm, and then they ask for an additional fee to protect the name in advance of approval.
