Shady Debt Collector (Nuisance call) reported by


They claim to be suing me for some debt that isn't even valid. Likely triggered because I have applied for a car loan and my credit report was pulled. They have an old address I haven't lived at since 1998 and my SSN. I told them to send me the paperwork regarding this "alleged" debt. Has never come. I looked them up: they have been sued numerous times and have changed their company name at least five times. Don't give them any information! Extremely suspect!

Collection agency aka Ability Recovery Services trying to collect for either my hospital bill or my Sam's club credit card (I can't remember whichb ok ne). They will call several times, usually they leave a voicemail

Left a voicemail the first time they called. They identified themselves as "Ability"and stated I needed to call them back. They never stated they're a debt collection agency (which is required), nor did they say what the call was about. I have no collections on my credit report. They've called multiple times in the last 2 days and if they continue to call me, I'll be filling complaints to any agency I can.

if you google this # it is ability Recovery Services. They use several numbers including an 855-207- 1892. Apparently they have been in trouble before.
