medicare impersonation (Scam call) reported by


Male caller with HEAVY accent- asked him to spell who he was calling for... he said m-e-d-I-c-a-r-e-" He need to verify information. I told him this was !@#$%^&* and a scam call and that I would be filing an FCC complaint immediately. I am fully aware of this identity theft scam and I know it is hitting our community heavily. Anyone answering it (I had to because of a family in same area code with elderly medical issues) should hang up and NOT respond in any way- except to cuss the person out and hang up and immediately file an FCC complaint!!

This number called at 2:53 pm and again at 3:20 pm. The first caller was man with a very strong Indian accent started to say he was from Medicare. I told him to get a real job and stop trying to scam people and hung up. The second call was a woman, again a very strong Indian accent. I couldn’t even understand who she was asking for so I said she had the wrong number and hung up. I then checked my called ID and saw both calls were from the same number. These people need to be stopped. They are dangerous.

Just called and said they were trying to get further information they needed to finish my Medicare claim. They had my name, address, birthdate and phone number. I then said, who are you and what do you want? They said they were with Medicare. I have had way too many of these no accounts call and knew they were trying to get more info. Well... they had quite a bit already. So I said... I know you are scamming for something, so save your time. He then hung up on me. I called the number back and surprise.... no answer. Left a message I have reported them and to get a real job!

I am not happy,this number called my grandma at 6:20 AM!WHO DOES THAT?!Whoever is doing this needs to be stopped they called again today, my grandma didn't answer but we need the person or people who are doing this to STOP!!!

The person called several times so I answered. They claimed to represent Medicare, but Medicare says they do not make outgoing calls, so it's a scam. When I told the man my number is on the Do Not Call list, he shouted at me, haha. Definitely not from Medicare.
