a lady called and asked if this name of our business, i replied "yes". she wanted to know the name of the owner. I asked who was calling and why, she said she was calling from " American Chamber of Commerce", when i started asking her information about who they were and where they were from she hung up. i tried to call back to find out about them and it rings once and then a busy signal

Caller immediately began questioning: "is this [business name]" "are you located [address]" "do you still have X number of employees?" When I asked for her name and who she represented, she gave a name and stated she represented the American Chamber of Commerce. Attempts to call the number back are met with "all circuits are busy, try again later"

a woman called me asking me if I was lisa taylor's office I asked what is this and then she replied oh I must have the wrong number I would like to know who this person is calling/using my number and full name as an office I never even heard of and you cannot call this number back either

Wanted to know my number of employees, but when I asked her name hung up instantly. Tried to call back on a land line and my cell, and it instantly disconnects you.

She started off asking if I was Steven's Haircutting. That was previous business at this location so I gave her new business name. She went on to confirm address and asked if I had two or more employees. I got the feeling she wasn't looking for a haircut so I asked why. She said she was updating records for the Chamber of Commerce. I asked if that was the Grass Valley Chamber and she replied "American Chamber of Commerce" and what was the name of the manager. I gave her my last name (part of my business name anyway) and asked why I would want to be listed with the American Chamber? Instead of answering she thanked me for my time and hung up. I tried calling the number back but it instantly disconnects.
