They call saying they're from apple customer support and I think my caller i.d shows apples real number. They call saying that they have detected suspicious activity and will help you fix it through your computer. DONT FALL FOR IT. You will be giving them access to EVERYTHING on your computer. Be rude to them & they will quickly drop the act. I called the real apple customer support and in their own words, "APPLE will never call you, especially to ask for access to your computer.You must call them if you have any problems." Please guys, dont fall for this. All it takes is for 1 person to give them access and they hit the jackpot with all your personal information.

Claims security breach in your i-cloud account (Scam call) reported by


Caller ID says "Apple Inc". Recorded voice claims security breach in my i-cloud account. No one in my household even has an i-cloud account. From Google search, number in caller ID appears to belong to an actual Apple store on Long Island, but I'm sure the calls are not from the store. Unscrupulous telemarketers often put other people's numbers into the caller ID to make the call look legitimate, or look like the call is from a neighbor. I received 10 calls in 3 hours (!) from 516-739-8540 on 7/16/18 before I put the number on my call blocking list by logging onto my Optimum account.
