Received several calls every day for several days from apple. (Scam call) reported by


Female voice says from apple care which I don't own AND apple DOESN'T CALL customers! Googled both the header number and 516 with the same NEGATIVE RESULTS. Received more than 15 calls in a WEEK 《ANNOYING & ILLEGAL!》.

They refer you to area code 516 344 1156 which is in new york. Apple is california. I do not have apple products. They spoofed the Beverly hills apple retail store number and are calling from it. I asked them to stop calling they are waking up my mom who is 87 years old. We dont own apple products. Ibtold them to stop scamming people they suck.

I got a call from a real Apple number 800 275 2273 and they left a message for me to call this 516 number. I called the 800 number and they said there is a scam involving Apple tech calling unsuspecting customers. Apple call taker said that they do NOT call customers

I am receiving at least 2 calls a day for the last week with a caller ID that reads AppleCare with a legit. 1 800 275-2273 Apple support number. They have a recording that states To speak to an Apple support person press 1, If you need to call us back use our toll free number 1 516 344-1156. This is not an Apple number. I looked up the numbers and called Apple. I spoke to their customer support and was told it is a scam and their number is being spoofed. She stated Apple will not call you. If someone is trying to access your account you will receive an email to let you know, I was told they do not track you. The scam call states that there may have been a breach in your I Cloud account. Apple does not call.

They called at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks on my landline saying my apple computer had been hacked and I should particularly protect my financial information, but I did not push 1 to find out what could be done. Clearly a SCAM!

10 calls in 1 day from multiple numbers and area codes that leave a partial message that says call this number to hear complete message again. There is no identity linked to this number or message. I did not call back ever.
