Accented male called my company, asked if [employee] is [job title]. I said yes. Asked if [company address] is his address. I said it's the wrong office. He asked for his address. I asked who they are and he said DW research and offered a vague explanation that made them seem legit. When I proceeded to google it he hung up immediately.

"Yes" answer scam (Scam call) reported by


Received a call from this number at my work number from someone calling himself Donald. Had a heavy accent, could not place but seems middle eastern or Indian. Asked for me by name, when I confirmed and asked what the needed they immediately hung up. There was a few seconds pause before he first spoke, this may be an indication of telemarketing equipment being used to route calls once they answer. This is the first time I get a call from this number, it is almost certainly a scam call.

Calls often. Always an Indian accent. They hang up when you start asking them questions. Use several different tactics like calling on behalf of banks, cell phone and IT companies.
