This is another one of those phony real estate scammers; a person contacting you out of the blue presuming to know something about your real estate and wanting to buy your property. Sometimes they even try to make it appear as if you had already been in some type of negotiation with them. However, do not be mistaken! This is a 100% scam call! Legitimate real estate buyers whether they are professional brokers or private individuals will contact you by mail and give you their license information and their business contact data first before they call, to see if you really are interested and so you can check them out. These folks, on the other hand, often preying on seniors and the disadvantaged, simply look up property addresses and names using the public county records and try to identify suckers to Phish. Hang up on the ****. Block further calls and report the calling number to the state attorney general and the state real estate board.
