Incompetent, won't accept blocked #, rude **** (Debt collector) reported by Laura S
I got a vmail today, there was a recording saying please hold while we connect you, then a live female said, "Hello is this (my name)? Hello? Well I'm disconnecting for no response if you're not going to talk then. Okay disconnecting!" I called back via masked # (*67 in front of the # being called) & the lady who picked up after the recording telling me to hold, greeted: "thank you for calling Global Media Solutions." The second time I called w/ masked #, I realized they blocked me & I just got a SIT tone (fast beeps/dead connection). The third time I called w/ no mask on my # & it went through. The lady greeted: "thank you for calling Global Receivables Solutions, my name is Maggie." The first & third call back I asked, what is your company? They said they handle "personal business matters" for other companies. The first time I called, w/ my # masked, I told them they were hilarious for making threats about hanging up, to an answering machine, laughed, then hung up. The reason I called back again, was to see if I got a different person, or if the name of the company would change, depending on who picked up. I honestly couldn't tell if the two ladies were different people, but only calling from my unmasked #, did she reveal her name to me (I forgot her last name). The name of the company however, DID change, w/ both contacts. No company name was left in my vmail message, though. I put their # in my SPAM contact, so all calls will go to vmail. This was a new # so my phone rang while I was napping, confusing, & bothering me. Now no ring only vmail notification, if they call again. I told them, on the third call though, they had the wrong # (tee-hee).
