Said I was being called because there was criminal activity associated with my SS#. Did not know what my name or SS# was when I have them my number, a number they just called and were saying they were going to take action against if I did not call. They had no idea who I was or what my SS# was. Total scam!!!

I called back, could not hear the voice on the other end because of background noise. To any people talking at once in the background, the person could not understand me he just kept asking for my name told him that SS does not call people but sends a letter for you to call. They hang up.

They are adament avout u giving them ur social to verify who u are. They hung up on me 7 times when I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. They stated there was criminal activity related to my social. When I said that they called me not the other way around and they could verify who i was in another matter, I was again hung up on. Then when I called the number back he stated "I hung up on you and yet you call me back" then he hung up again. BEWARE EVERYONE!!!!

I got the same thing, automated voice stating my social was being reported because i was involved in criminal activity. The only criminal activity is these people running a scam to get peoples social. I cant even get through to hand them a piece of there own *.
