asked for someone with same name, demanding I give them my ss number, refused. wanted to know if I ever lived in a certain state, kept on, I hung up on them. They were way out of line I don't owe anyone anything except my rent and utilities bills. I blocked this number

Stated that I had a debt in collection for a defaulted Capital One credit card. Funny......both my QuickSilver and Platinum Capital One cards are in my purse, safe & sound, with current accounts because I pay them both off every month. Bogus call!

portfolio recovery. these guys seriously need to be put out of business. they don't listen when you tell them they have the wrong number when you do answer. they constantly call during work business hours and I use my cell phone for work.
