Legit jail call. You won't hear the inmate's name in the voicemail because it's stated in the beginning of the automated call as soon as your voicemail picks up. Not a robocall. It's like .03/min if not free.

This went to voicemail- an automated voice began speaking without mentioned no any inmates’ names, but went on to describe charges for the call, etc. And did I want to accept just that call or set up prepaid fund for other calls. I know no one in any jail, prison, detention center, or the like. Further, it is a mobile phone, whichyo my knowledge is NOT handed to any inmates to make their calls outside the prison. It must be a scam- they called three times before leaving that message, I blocked them

It most certainly is a call from a correctional facility, the person calling you may just have the wrong number. Don't put up falsified information just because you don't know anyone that is incarcerated.

Inmate call from Patuxent Institution. It's basically the only way we're able to communicate on a consistent basis. All communication is monitored and recorded. Most times the calls are cut off early and only 1 or 2 phones are working(some what), so that's my main complaint because anyone who has been locked up knows that being able to talk to family and friends is one of the major ways an inmate can stay positive and sane.

Inmate call from a Correctional facility. A very welcomed call from my incarcerated nephew! In order for inmates to call someone from this Maryland facility, they must use this prepaid phone service. It starts as a recorded message that informs you that the call is coming from an inmate and you have to accept the call by following the prompts. It is no cost to you.

this is the number that inmates use to call family and friends. it's not a spam number. Sorry some of you feel that way. it's not a mobile number their calling from. sometimes they have to call a mobile number because not everyone has a home phone.

Where would you even get the idea that it would be from a mobile phone? It's obviously a landline. It's from a correctional facility so don't be falsifying info because you want to think you're being funny.

Scam caller is what it’s NOT! It’s a correctional facility call not a mobile phone someone may have dialed you by accident but it’s def a jail call not a scam so stop spreading false info please
