Number has been calling me for months now. Normally I get no response when I answer. Today a human asked for me by name and said they were for student loan forgiveness or something like that. The person was definitely foreign and I couldn't understand them very well.

"Verizon" Scam (Scam call) reported by


Claimed they were "Verizon" and needed to update my credit card info to make a $57 payment... they call all the time, I let this one go today. Years ago I had a friend where this happened to same MO and they stole her money.

Billing (Scam call) reported by


Claimed they were trying to correct an error in the billing of my phone service. Needed to verify info to correct. Problem was they claimed they were with Verizon but my phone is not even a subsidiary of Verizon. When I told him I knew it wasn't my phone service he said "Oh my God" and then hung up. They call everyday and even though I block them they just use the next number on their list to call back. There has to be more done to stop these calls!

They apparently, per comments, have run various scams from this number. Currently it is a student loan refinance offer. They will answer, if you call, and pto hustle personal financial information.

They called left a voicemail saying credit bureau and I was going to be arrested. Then I called back talked to a person and asked me by a last name I haven't used in 7 years! I said I don't go by that name anymore and they hung up
