This guy had an ad for a free mattress on craigslist and I really needed one so I called. He insisted that I have to get the mattress TONIGHT. I wasn't really prepared but I really needed a new bed so against my best judgement I went to his apartment. Once I got there all he wanted to do was have sex with me. Long story short the sex was pretty good but he refused to give me the mattress. He said I 'should have known what this is'.

This guy put 2 ads up on craigslist in the free section one was a new sealed full temperpidic mattress and the other was a free new vespa. I called the number and this guy answered confirming the ad and proceeded to tell me this story about how he is in caesars palace (room 1220) and won like 800 million dollars on the roulette wheel or something like that and some of the prizes on there was a vespa and a mattress, now leaving tomorrow morning and cant take any of that stuff with him. He said his name was Jordon Slate? I believe but everyone calls him little Jordie. says he works for a company that makes hearing ads for the def and hes there for the convection called def con. DON'T CALL THIS NUMBER!! 415 349 5666

I answered a Cragislist ad for a demolition job in Los Angeles. This phone number was attached along with the name "Little Jordie". A man answered. I inquired about the job and then he said in the most deadpan serious voice, that my life was in danger and that I should grab a gun. I tried to ask who I was in danger from but he hung up. Pretty sure he was just trying to freak me out.

Apparently this guy is a wealthy retired technologist who made a lot of money in the 90s, and now gives away free stuff on Craigslist from his building in SF. Some people have said he was affiliated with Silicon Graphics, but he's been a low key angel investor in the Bay Area since before the dotcom bubble. His obsession with giving away free stuff began when a startup he invested in went bankrupt and he was left with two dozen Aeron chairs which he proceeded to distribute to various non-profits around the bay. If you ever saw a Food Not Bombs table with a guy sitting in an Aeron chair that was probably because of this guy. Eventually, he started investing in the most farout startup ideas he could find just for the chance that they would go bankrupt and he could give away all their stuff! Some people say it's so he can get a tax write off, but I think he's just an eccentric guy who possibly experimented with too much LSD. I won't go into any more details because I want to respect his privacy. I first met him late one night when he was giving away a commercial grade bounce castle. He asked me to meditate with him to balance our chakras and then he helped load my truck! This man is a treasure of the bay area, and I hope you are blessed with a chance to meet his as well.

This guy posted numerous free items on craigslist sf and when we went to pick up an item they were not answering. The wierd part is I talked to the guy earlier and he encouraged me to come over late, ( I'm a female). He was offering free laptops so my boyfriend and I went. Another listing he offered medical equipment in a picture of a shady looking basement, think 'silence of the lambs'.

I found this searching for info on a craigslist post for a free trampoline last saturday. Guy told me it was haunted and he didn't want it anymore. Really weird guy but he did give me a free trampoline and was very helpful getting it into my van. One thing to look out for is he will definitely talk your ear off about "the jews" you gotta just kinda smile and nod.
