Keep getting called from 415-323-3796 This phone number used to belong to a deceased Carl H H September 23 - Passed away August 5 (Early 60s) ... He said I will be arrested for IRS fraud I blocked his number as I've been getting his call's for the past month at least 15 times a week when I don't answer he leaves a message Remember nobody from the IRS will call you ever All Scams so be careful out there

The number 4153233497 keeps calling me saying he is an officer calling in regards to me being in trouble with the IRS. I tried calling him back so I could yell at him for being a fraud and a loser but have not reached him as of yet. I also had a Washington phone number calling me about the same exact thing. I just worry about the elderly that get these phone calls. Very scary to think they can be used and abused by these Fucking foreigners! How and where can we report these people to protect our people who could be easily defrauded by these crooks? Anybody know?

This is a Scam (Scam call) reported by


The number is from Google Voice. The person is of Middle Eastern sounding. They will claim to be with the IRS and that you have Tax Evasion, Fraud and Money Laundering charges against you. When you question them or tell them that they are wrong they will make the comment that 'All Criminals say that'. The Government doesn't use Google Voice and they will tell you the reason that they are calling. The fact that this person is rude and disrespectful is one thing that you can tell on. The second part is that they will say 'Agent' and not 'Officer'. They can get some basic information on people by doing a basic search on line and then try to scare you into sending them money.

Thank you so much for your comments. I received this call & I agree with everything you reported. It scared me and I had trouble sleeping last night. I thought it was a bogus call, but am so glad that I could come to this site and see these comments. I think I can eat breakfast now.

Got a phone call from a person, he left a message - had a very indian accent. stated to call 415.323.3796 urgently as my name was being investigated for criminal charges against me and to call as soon as I received this message. I am furious and wish I could punch him in the face - because it truly does mess with your head and you get scared - but after reading some of the reviews here I feel better that it is a scam. I also agree i.r.s uses 800 numbers and would send letters to your house first if they did have your personal info.

I am aware of these scam calls........If it is really the IRS, there would be a formal letter sent first and many to follow (Which also could be scams-be mindful) Also IRS usually has 1-800 #'s for all departments. U must do a research check BEFORE CALLING! Just cuz it sounds scary using IRS to force the response to call back.........Do NOT until U know facts that it is. typical names Brown, Smith, etc are A red flag
