Called from a recorded line. Addressed herself as Deb, but never said what company she represents. Then asked for my name. I said "i cant say who i am untill you say who you are and where you're calling from". She told me condescendingly to have a nice day before hanging up on me. I'm sorry but if you can't make it clear who you are than neither can i. I dont deal with shady callers.

They call and when I answer they ask personal information of who I am. They refuse to tell me who they are unless I first identify myself and when I say they must tell me first the hang up. They have called me over 20 times last year.

For the last couple of weeks I've been receiving 15-20 call per day. Typically within a few minutes. My ATT&T Call Protect App immediately blocks them, but today I called back from a different number. They said they were a debt collection agency, but would not elaborate further. They wanted me to verify my information before they would tell me why they were calling. When I voiced my concerns, they became agitated and hung up on me. In my opinion, if this was a valid debt collector, they would understand my concerns and do anything possible to ease them. Also, they would not be robo-calling like this!!

These people call up to 50 times per day. I never answer because my AT&T Call Protect rejects the call as Potential Fraud. I've called back on a different line and the person refuses to give any information on the company they're calling from.

Wanted me to verify my address, said if you're calling me you know my address. Then give me your date of birth, absolutely not. Requested they send me letter to the address they have on file. She said she couldn't until I verified address! I was told they sent out a notice June 4, OK today is the 21st and I've been out-of-town. Asked who this was and she told me her name is Brenda B (no need to post last name on here). I asked her who she represents, name of company, etc. Couldn't tell me that either because I didn't verify my address or provide my DOB. But I am to call them after I receive my notice (?). So much for me looking out for it in the mail. I purge a lot of 'junk' mail with bulk rate postage. Seriously now, don't waste my time on my work phone. Clearly, if you have my work phone #, I answer with identifying who I am, you just may be talking to the right person. I don't give any personal information out over the phone, I don't care who you care or why you're calling. Secondly of all, if a notice was sent out June 4th, that's 17 days ago, and if this is a collections matter, isn't protocol 30 day follow-up from mailing? Find it odd a company name would not be provided from the caller, but they want personal information from me before they can talk to me, and they called me. A bit backwards. I've experienced scams that won't tell you who they are but try to extract personal information and/or extort funds from the caller. Felt this to be unprofessional for a legit collections service.

Refused to say what they were calling about or what company they were with until and unless I said yes to who I was. Wasn't going to do that. Gave them the option to tell me who they were calling with or never call me again and she said have a nice day. LOL

Caller was hard to understand and said they're calling on a recorded line. They wanted to verify my birthday which I then told them I'm current on all my bills and wasn't giving any information- then then said fine, goodbye.
