Nice guy, for the most part. Trying to offer us savings by spending $199 today to join some sort of Marriott owner's vacation type thing. Not sure how he got my number. He said we could stay at member's-only hotels and resorts. Told him I don't like making snap decisions with my money, but he was very interested in not letting my business go. Eventually I just had to say that I'm absolutely not interested. He hung up.

Marriott timeshare. Hey folks, don't do what I did 10 years ago and buy from Marriott. If you want a timeshare, buy it from a re-seller and put the money you saved towards the first 10-20 years HOA fees. Marriott sells points these days at $10.00 approximately, it will take 4000 points to stay at most resorts, this equals $40,000.00 minimum initial investment.... not to mention the HOA fees are.55 cents per point. Timeshares are good, just don't buy them retail only buy from a re-seller and your thousands of dollars ahead.

She left a voicemail saying I had been selected for a vacation at 70% off and she would try to reach me two more times before moving on to the next person. I recently stayed at a Marriott 4 weeks prior and she said it based on that stay...I didn't enter any contest so I know it's too good to be true...and reading others' reviews it sounds like it's for a timeshare offer...

Great deal, didn't seem like they wanted a ton of money or anything in return, just a 90 minute session which she explained as more if an "about the company" than a sales pitch. Definitely not a scam, but still telemarketing
