Scamming for Personal Information -- DO NOT GIVE DATE OF BIRTH (Scam call) reported by


A woman called me asking if she was speaking to me (knew my first and last name), and said she needed to go over information with me but could not tell me what until she verified my date of birth, and said our call would be recorded. I was confused and not about to give my personal information without knowing exactly they were calling for, so I asked what exactly this call was in reference to. She was very quick and rude to me, sharply saying that they sent me mail that I never responded to and that she couldnʻt tell me any more information unless I gave my DOB, and if I didnʻt want to give it now, I would need to call back the number + an extension and give them my date of birth to continue the conversation. I said "....okay." and she got angry and said "OKAY GOODBYE" and hung up. Donʻt give any information whatsoever without knowing exactly who and why someone is calling you, with ample information. They can always send an email. Block this number if they call.

She asked me to provide the last four digits of my SS or Birthdt (Unsolicited call) reported by


Lady called and asked me if she was speaking with me I said yes. She said to verify she was speaking with a correct person she would need either the last four digits of my Social Security number or my birthdate. When I wouldn’t provide either one because I didn’t know who she was she said she could not give me any information about why she was calling unless she had one of those two things. I refused then she got verbally abusive and hung up. She stated that if I wanted to know what my name appeared on to give her a call back though she provided no name and no number

Claim to be debt collector named Southern Management Systems. They have not attempted to contact me via mail, & finally after months of voice msgs I returned their call, but all they had was my phone # & first name, however they needed my last name to look me up in the system. I said NO WAY?! If you all have called for nearly a year & left msgs on my phone, & you know my first name, then you should be able to explain the nature of your call. I explained to the lady that I'm not in your system by full name or phone # because you're fishing for my personal info & your business is a scam & she immediately hung up.
