Timeshare sellback but they want $299 up front per week (Scam call) reported by


Called wife's and my cell phones. Left a message on my phone saying this call is about our XYZ Timeshare. Never said they were with XYZ however didn't gave the true name of the company they represent. Have our names, address, phone numbers, etc. Knew the location one property we signed with but not both. Think they got the info from the county records where that deed was recorded. Offers up to $1900 per week to rent but require $299 up front per week, up to 6 weeks. ($1794 out of my pocket.) Searched the number and it belongs to TravelersXC. Several reviews are great but anyone can review themselves to make it appear that way. More recent reviews show the true nature of these con artists. I spoke to Fredrick and he tried his best to get some of my money. Phone numbers involved are (407)574-7849 and (407)487-4839. I've since blocked them, you might want to do the same.

Same details here. Claimed to be calling about my property, but said they worked for Executive Resorts Network, which appears to be an advertising website. Looked up timeshare reselling scams and FTC article; Seems they all use the same story line. Glad I checked first.
