Scam; bogus car warranty co. (Scam call) reported by


Calls several times a day, a few days a month. Always between 8am-4pm. Never leaves a VM. When I was able to answer it, the man tried telling me that my car warranty had expired but I could purchase or extend my warranty for a fee. I know my warranty is still good on my car, as I've had it for 2 yrs, it has low miles (currently at 42K, had 17K at purchase, 2014 model), and I know exactly how long my warranty lasts. Plus I got an extended/more inclusive warranty at purchase. Also, we almost had to use it to replace the rims on 2 blown tires after I ran over something in the road trying to avoid getting hit by another car. (Any tire/rim situation was included in the extra warranty I mentioned above. They replace both in any circumstance at no cost.) That issue is exactly why I got it, due to traveling to small towns outside my city to see family. Lots of people have flats out there. And this happened AFTER the calls started 6 months ago. So, it's 100% a scam. They didn't even know the make & model of my car. Sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to help someone who might think it's legit by being specific about why/how I know it's a scam.
