Said I forfeited my right to settle a debt out of court. Did not say what debt. I didn't press 1 to speak to a human. They have called me 3 times since yesterday so I have blocked the number.

Wanted me to verify my social and my address to be able to give me info, when I asked what it's in regards to she stated it was in reference to a old debt which is already being handled by another company. I called the company who is handling my matter gave them their number and they informed me this company Alliance is fradulent and to not give any info. They have been reported.

They called to collect on a debt from over 8 years ago that is "Time Barred" that in the state of GA is not able to be collected. They know this yet left personal information on my message even without verifying who it is. No matter what they just want to settle out of court because they know the court will not support "Time Barred" issues. Read up on the law for your state and the term "Time barred".

He said that I had a debt from 6 years ago that is going to court...but i can settle now by paying $1100 - maybe less. I said no and he said they would send a process server to my house. I told him that I no longer lived at the address he had on file and I refused to give him my current address so he hung up.

I did not in fact answer the call. They called during off hours. I returned the call and got a recording. The info did not pertain to me so I don't recall what it was about. Irrelevant so I move on.
