Nebraska Medicare to Idaho Number? Don't think so. (Scam call) reported by


I've gotten multiple calls from multiple numbers claiming they are Medicare/Medicaid and who ask for my father by name. The number they are calling is my personal cell and I have repeatedly told them they are calling his daughter and that they have the wrong number. I also happen to work with Health and Welfare with the state of Idaho, where me and my parents live...this number is for Nebraska. I asked for the persons name this time around, who was a guy instead of a woman as it usually was. I asked for his first and last name so I could "take a message" and then informed him that he was not in our system. He was very confused and I informed him that I work for Health and Welfare for the state of Idaho and that I just attempted to look him up in our system, which lists all our employee's, and he wasn't on it. I also informed him it was the 5th or 6th time they had tried to call me and if they attempt to contact me again I will take every number I have down as theirs, since it's been multiple, and report them to the authorities. Hopefully this will be the LAST time I hear from them.
