Phishing for Back Tax Debtees (Financial services) reported by CLiF
Call came in from Battleground, WA. Out of town unknown caller. We didn't answer, as we know no one from this area. When dialed the number back to see if it was hinkey, they identified themselves as some company that is involved with back taxes. The asked my husband if he owes back taxes. when he said 'no', a pre-recorded voice came on that said he 'the plan would not be good for you. Your number will be removed from our call list'. Well, we'll see. If they do not follow their statement, i will enter another entry with that observation. It appears that this company was phishing for business. Uncertain whether they are legitimate, or not. We are just reporting our observations to others for knowledge purposes for other parties.
