Th automated caller state that the company that i make payments to no longer ins business and i have a subscription remaining and that they are going to refund me the $300 if i call them back at 347-391-3282 and if not they will renew my $300 subscription next month with a new software company. Sounds like the other scam calls I keep getting for over a month now.

Didn't answer, software companies NEVER call customers unless you specifically called them. Never fall for any computer related call unless it's from thr original manufacturer. Even then, hang up and call the toll free number of the computer mfg and double check the validity of the call.

The person on the phone stated that the computer company had gone out of business and they needed to log on to my computer to give me a refund. He then gave me a website that takes control of your computer to do what ever they want to your computer. I asked How long he had been running this Scam. He hung up. I called him back explaining how rude he was being in hanging up on a paying customer. He then hung up again. I called him back and asked if his parents had any children that lived. The end of the call.
