Spoke with me regarding my boyfriends debt account. Never asked me to verify his information, stated his address then asked me if it was correct. Told me his DOB then asked me if that was correct. Debt may be valid, but not trusting this company.

The infamous Portfolio Recovery (Debt collector) reported by


This company calls from a bunch of different numbers. Portfolio Recovery is a "real" company, but I believe they are calling the wrong number. I have no debt, no accounts in collections, and watch my credit reports religiously. I've also owned the same phone number for over 20 years. I don't know why they're calling, but it seems like 50% of the unknown calls I receive lead back to this company. I refuse to answer these harassing calls.

Reported as "portfolio recovery"?? Who knows, no message etc. This entity will never obtain a cent from me as they have "zombied" an old divorce debt, lying/updating the actual date etc. They will be reported to Consumer Protectipn feds be assured.
