The scammers have software to overwrite the real number being called from. The spoofing software is to make you believe it is a local number calling. When you answer your voice and any words are recorded and then ran into a identity theft ring to fraudulently authorize new lines of credit.Be aware, do not answer. You can block the call but the software also can tell you have and it will be not long until they use a different local number overwrite to call you again. Voice recognition software is being used for fraudulent purposes now.

People did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call center robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

i got tired of it calling so i called it back. ot automattically asked if i wanted to be taken off the do not call list. of it keeps calling you call number back and hit 1 afyer it answers. that yakes you off their list
