Robocall in Siri voice stating: "We have just received a notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters, which will get expired in the next 24 working hours, and once it gets expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops, as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We will request you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case, before taking any actions against you. The number to reach us is (323) 347-6205". Hung up and reported to TIGTA and FTC with all pertinent information. Blocked so it can't all me again. I know I don't owe anything to the IRS so I'm not worried.

Stated did audit of tax returns and I paid too little. Gave me 2 options but could not explain options. Got name and "badge number". Spoke with supervisor who would not explain options to me. Finally did stating how much money I "owed" and how I was to deposit it in a federal bank, etc. plus threatened me with local law enforcement coming within an hour to a day. What they told me is exactly like the other reports documented here. It's a Los Angeles number.

The number to reach us is (323) 347-6205" After listening to this message, I got suspicious and looked it up online. I understand that the IRS only communicates by mail. Another red flag is the ambiguous nature of this call, such as "headquarters," "local cops," etc. Most IRS dealings do not expire in 24 hours anyway.
