Scam Mail - Fake Package on Hold (Unsolicited call) reported by M. Jason
I received 3 "Notice of Package on Hold" letters in the mail. I just bought the house too. Somewhat looks legit, but luckily I'm not gullible. They are creative at making it look like an official parcel service like USPS or UPS, but they left a number that is easily looked up online. (323)331-9454 Mailed from zip code 92830. Most people on different sites are claiming they harass you for money. I never received a call, only these 3 notices in my mail. Do not attempt to make contact and ignore.

Scam Mail - Package on Hold (Scam call) reported by KatG
We got a notice once we moved in saying we had a "final notice" about a package that was being held. This wasn't from the post office, nor did it have any info about the post office on it. When I looked up the number they asked us to call, it turns out to be a scam number that continually harasses people for identity information. DO NOT CALL/ANSWER.
