Scammer (Scam call) reported by


Foreign person answered the phone claimed his name was Daniel Smith and that he was from advance america. I could barely understand a word he was saying. He said I was approve for 4000. He started asking me questions of things he should already have on file. Look up the number and it was not connected to advance America at all. I also look at his email which also didn’t show any relation to advance America. I read the email he sent me which had a loan agreement attached. The loan agreement said that I have to pay 250 through money gram up front to receive a loan. Legit loans do not need any money up Front.

Possible Scam (Financial services) reported by


Stated they were Advance America Payday/Installment Loans. Offered me a loan by email then called and went over details. Stated they’d need my banks username and password to make a mobile deposit and I’d need to return the funds by a money gram or prepaid debit card. Stated this was an amount went through. Then I’d need to make a withdrawal in the 9am and return the funds to them to make sure the funds went through. After that they’d deposit all the funds back in my account in which I’d been Pee approved for in the email or more if I’d like. I immediately got off the phone logged in changed my username and password and went to my account and there was an amount deposited ain which I report to my banks fraud department. I also called the major credit entities and placed fraud alerts on my credit. Please be aware there are many scams. No company should ever ask for this information. Once I contacted the correct authorities I did a complete scan of my devices and changed all my credentials again as well as added extra blanketed security. Therefore if they or anyone attempts to access any of my accounts or information we will be informed and frauds will be subject to the full weight of the law. Please be aware once they access your account and deposit a mobile or any other funds and you full the funds out to return them you’ve entered into fraudulent activities. Then whatever funds you take out your account you’ll be liable for them as well as any fraudulent accounts they’ve created with your identity. I hope this helps someone.
