robo call beware! (Robocall) reported by


robo call for last couple weeks. "donor services" for something like oological Society of San Diego. (I assume zoological). Robo call says can't make connect, please call this number. Filling up my answering machine. Number does not have San Diego area code.

called both the number and San Diego Zoo. Indeed, they work together but Zoo is unaware of robo calls. Both promised to fix the problem. Next robo call came 2 h later.

I had these types of calls previously people calling to sell me cruise tickets, vacation trips and now san diego zoo membership. This is because some how they got hold of your mails our hacking into the usps or the other systems. Beware scammer.!

I called the San Diego zoo to verify the number and it is in fact with the San Diego zoo. They were calling me to renew my membership (which I had done a week ago) just needed a few more days for it to process. It's legit, no scam! Again, I called the San Diego zoo to have them verify!!

Caller ID says "San Diego Zoo", but the area code is outside of San Diego County. No message left. I am a member of SD Zoo Society, so wonder if this caller bought the membership list/directory for unsolicited scam calls.
