The caller was a woman with a very thick foreign accent. She asked for my spouse by name, saying that an "investment firm" interested in apartments was interested in buying our home; she stated our address. That immediately sounded very suspicious to me, so I asked, "What is the name of your firm?" She hemmed and hawed and mumbled something about 'who' and I could barely hear what she was trying to say. I cut to the chase and told her that any investment firm that makes solicitation calls and is unwilling to identify themselves is disreputable and that she needed to find out who she is really working for, and better yet, quit the scam job and get honest work somewhere else. Then I abruptly ended the phone call. My guess is that the call doesn't have a thing to do with real estate or home sales and is just another fancy phishing scam to get more personal information on someone.

Called today and previously on 05/14/2019. Left a voice mail stating just purchased a house in my area and wanted to know if I was interested in selling my house and if so to call back. He said if this was a wrong number or a wrong person to please accept his apology but if not then to call back. Deleted the voicemail.

3 sec voicemail with no message. Call back to this number goes to a six minute music loop interrupted about every 30 seconds by a sped-up "helium" voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line for the next available agent.", finally terminated by a computerized voice saying "Goodbye."
