This scam is making the rounds again. I have had success in thwarting repeat calls with the following method: 1. Give them only one warning, "please remove my name from your calling list." 2. If they call again, I give them an earful with the security whistle that I keep near my phone; one blast is sufficient. 3. Hang up knowing that it is highly unlikely that they will call again!

IRS scam calling they want a credit card and your cell phone #. Said I owed money and was being sued by the IRS, total scam. IRS will only mail information to you. Sounded like I was talking to a place in Mumbai India not Indiana. When I would not cooperate they hung up. When I called backed and questioned them they hung up again. Fraud Fraud and More Fraud

Left message. Sounded like an older lady. I missed the call. They called my personal cell which I rarely give to anyone or list anywhere. They indicated they were the IRS. I later called back the number from my home phone and blocked my number and no one answered. No answering service or recording at all. Says it is an Indiana number and it is a landline.
