A woman called me from this number on my lunch break and said she could save me several hundred dollars in car insurance. They asked if I drive and I said yes and they asked my for my zip code, I asked if they needed my home zip code they replied yes, I then asked if they needed my work zip code they said, I then replied that I in fact drive a pickup truck not a car, I lead them on for several minutes until she hung up. It was definitely some sort of scam call.

Called claiming to save me money on car insurance. Asked for my zip code and I gave them a wrong one. She asked what car insurance company I am with and I replied, “I’m not sure I’m not the one who takes care of it.” I didn’t even finish my sentence before she disconnected.
