They called me twice, second time only showing 'unknown caller' but it was the same agent. They really wanted me to call this 'astrologer' at 900-524-4848, a special deal today only (Feb. 23/18) for 5 minutes free. Seems pretty fishy.

In 2006 they called to say I had won a cruise, but had to pay $900 us because it was a 2 person cruise and I had to pay for the second person. In 2008 they called again and said I had to pay a bit more or they would cancel my win. I told them to cancel. Since then I have been getting calls telling me that I am now in collections because I owe the more!

Astrology phone scam (Scam call) reported by


I waited a few seconds until the line connected me to a male voice. He began by offering Astrology services. He was trying to get me to answer a number of questions about him continuing the conversation. My first answer was 'Alright' when he asked if he could continue. I realized that this was a scam, and so my next answer was 'What is this in regards to?' (he was prompting me to say 'Yes' which I didn't). My next comment was 'No Thanks' and I hung up. I did not want to waste my time further. I also understand the sometimes scammers try and get you to say words, record you, and then try and bill you for things, using your recorded words to scam you. Better to hang up and report such a phone number. Also, register your number on the Do Not Call List to try and avoid such calls.

Call you with poor connection. Want you to call back and provide a number that is a pay number, but are not forward with information. I immediately asked what it was for and he only said “okay just call me”. Like what for?! I said, “no thank you” and hung up. The call was unsolicited and is clearly a ploy to get $ from people. Do not answer.

L'appel 1-900 n'est PAS GRATUIT et l'entreprise de service de voyance niera tout lien avec l'entreprise de télémarketing. Que faire... Notez le numéro de l'appelant (télémarketing) ET le numéro du service 1-900 qui vous est proposé (laisser parler l'agent de télémarketing en ayant l'air intéressé jusqu'à ce qu'on vous fournisse le numéro 1-900). Lots of background noise and call kept cutting out. Wanted me to copy down a number 1-900-5244-848 and call it back and ask for Mr. Alex because he had a special offer for me for today only. Said he was calling from an astrology company. If I wanted to check it out I could go to yodastro.com. I asked a few questions about what it was all about but he told me I had to call the 1-900 number. In my opinion, just another telemarketer or scam and don't waste your time. I shouldn't have answered the call.

May 2019.. Dido.. this initial phone was local area code so couldnt screen European French? Indian accent. same guy 2nd time as using no it's not a scam. Knew my name. Wanted me to call 1-900-524-4156 pushed number. Urged me to web yodastro. It was in French language. Wow you only pay $2.99 on you phone bill to cover international charges. For a reading. Actual reading was supossed to be free. Yeah right I bet it would be a 1000.00 dollars later scam.

Never answer this number they have been calling me for 2 years trying to sell me Gurus, Viagra, computer check up from Microsoft, and the list is eternal. Just a bunch of scammers trying to make a buck. BTY they always change their number so we cant report them to the authorities. God knows I tried but they are like Leaches when they get your phone number. Good luck and I have but one solution. Kill The ****!!!!!
