From what I have heard, the number was for a false charity for disabled veterans. I have only seen this number once on my phone as far as I can remember.

Received a call from this number, a lady first asked for another person and after I told her she had the wrong number she proceeded to ask for a donation for a cancer charity. I said I would be happy to see their web page and to consider donating through their web page but she said they do not have a web page, finally I said I could not cooperate and that was all...checking at the info. in 800-notes and other web sites it seemed it was a phony charity.

Asked for Ray. When asked which Ray they wanted, they then said they didn't understand me several times. When I repeated which Ray did they want to speak to (no Ray here), they then asked for the Lady or Man of the house.....SCAMMERS!!

Wanted previous owner of this number. I told them wrong number, the he said i could help him by donated to Disabled American Veterans. I told him that I am a Disabled American Vetetan (I Am). He said thank you for your time and hung up.
