I said I don't have a pc and it be unwise to charge me! (Scam call) reported by


I told him his number said he was in Chicago and that I have no problem driving to their office and sending him to the hospital if they charge my account. He said the charges was already pending and that he needed my information to cancel it. I said no and would block my account from everything unless the bank contacts me first and that why is it always some no English speaking middle East **** that calls with a scam. He then hung up. I called him back and said I work for the phone company and will trace his location to the phoney number he was using. He hung up again.

Number called my cell and left message that they would be charging my account $399.99 if I did not call back and cancel. I called back from my work phone instead of my cell and questioned the man answering about the name on the account. He tried to avoid answering and then when he did answer he listed the name of my work. I told him that this is a scam call and I am turning this number in. He hung up, number is probably no longer a good number.

Called my home land line on July 9. I returned call on July 12 with my cell phone. First told me I needed to "renew" my Microsoft subscription TODAY! He wanted me to turn on my computer so he could tell me how to renew. When I asked him to tell me the original number he called me at, he repeated back the cell # I used to call. I told him that was not the number originally called. He then hung up. I called Microsoft scam reporting line. Agent confirmed that the number was a known scam number trying to gain access to my computer and personal data.

Message left on voicemail was a robo call stating that if I did not return their call they would be deducting $399 from my bank account for a renewal subscription. I do not have any subscriptions so I know this is a bogus call.
