I work at an Advance Auto Parts in PA. This number called and was silent for the first 8 or 10 seconds. In that time I said Hello three or four times. Thenb I heard a Hello... The conversation went something like this... Me: Hello?... Them: Hello?... Me: Hello? (Thinking it's a customer, I assumed they knew they were calling Advance) Them: Hello?... Me: Advance Auto Parts, can I help you? (i thought maybe they didn't know who they called) *Silance* Them: What shop is this?... Me: A-Advance Auto Parts, In Leh****** Pennsylvania? Them: Oh. This is NAPA. Me: Oh. Well... What do you need? Them: I didn't--- *stops talking, silance* Me: Who did you call for? (Coworker wants to go to NAPA, Maybe he gave them our store phone number to contact him) Me: Who are you trying to reach? Them: Nobody- I didn't call you. Unless someone else did? Me: I mean, you called us. Then they hung up.

Calls our business every single day, somehow even after being blocked. I never answer. Sometimes they leave a silent 2 second message, which is sure sign of a scam. But once the voicemail was some woman speaking Spanish, as if she were talking to someone else? Made it sound like a real caller. But it’s for sure spam.

Been getting multiple calls a week--usually silent then hangs up. Called back out of curiosity...got a list of options to call, mostly healthcare related. I chose the medicaid option and when the person finally picked up they said "Hello, I am calling about medicaid..." like it wasn't me who called them. Scam.

Supposedly having to do with mag subscription I actually DO have as an "annual confirmation" but way more often than that. They've twice -- after a long series of questions -- casually asked for personally identifiable information (PII). They also asked about my corporate head, possibly in a bid to do targeted phishing against them.

They called, asking for my former boss's (previous practice owner) info about what he did as an optometrist. I gave her my name and job title, as my new boss has done interviews for magazines before, but now that I know this is a scam call, I'll be more careful if they call again. I didn't answer "yes" or "no" thankfully. They never asked for personal info like address and stuff; they said they already had it. All around a little sketch.

Called saying that they are renewing a megazine that we are seeing atm. But we do not have any megazine subscriptions. Tried to verify our managers name. Asked for mine and very aggressively wanted my full name and job title. After that, they were saying its a third parrty verification and asked for number of siblings I have, ethnicity, when I graduated highschool etc. Didn't answer personal questions.
