Has called multiple times states that my ex husband and I took out a payday loan 5-6 years ago we never paid for. I know for a fact this did not happen. They say we have to appear in court in Delaware (we no longer live in Delaware) next week but I can settle the debt by paying them via credit card over the phone right now. They refuse to name the company we supposedly took the loan from or to send me any information about the loan. My ex husband an I have received many calls like this in the past few years. They are all scams. According to the Federal Trade Commission website this is a fairly common scam.

They said we had to appear in court in Delaware for fraud charges next week but we could avoid charges and court if I paid them over the phone today with a credit card... According to the FTC this is typical scam behavior. They said I was included with the chargess because my ex and I were married at the time the loan was taken out...
