A woman with an accent called me at 2:26 pm on August 9, 2017, claiming to be from the IRS. She gave me a case number (995208) and told me that the IRS was filing three charges against me. 1. Violation of the IRS Act; 2. Tax Evasion, and 3. Providing misleading information to government authorities. She told me that the local police would be at my door within 30-45 minutes to arrest me for these charges. She told me I would be held in jail for 72 hours, while awaiting arraignment. I was terrified out of my mind. She never asked for money or for me to provide any confidential information, so I had no idea it was a scam--not until I reached out to a friend who Googled the phone number. This person or entity should be arrested and imprisoned for what they did to me. I suffered an anxiety attack, had heart palpitations and had to seek medical attention.

I just answered my phone to a call from this number with location showing Silver Spring, MD and a lady with an Indian or Middle-Eastern accent, introducing herself representative of Federal Bureau Investigation who was so upset asked about my documents from IRS and why I didn't complete and sign them. She asked me if I want this problem to be solved on the phone now or we go to court and she threatened me that she'll take me to court and send an arrest warrant to police department of where I live. I didn't know she's a scam and told her that's OK because I have not done anything wrong and let's meet at court!! Seriously!?

Female with an accent called stating that she was calling from IRS regarding an arrest warrant for me, she asked if I had received paperwork in the mail, she wanted me to verify my address.. I told her I was having issues with my cell phone and gave her my local FBI office phone number and asked her to call back lol SCAM!! Same number called back a few minutes later and they hung up when I answered.. I hate these freaking SCAMMERS trying to prey on the gullible!! UGH

I called it back , spoke with a foreign sounding man . He told me an officer will call me back .. Within a minute a woman with a middle eastern accent called me and said there is a warrant out for my arrest . I said good , send them over . She hung up .. I called this number back and the original gentleman answered .. I said What's you deal ..he hung up ..

They called saying there was a warrent for my arrest unless I give them my personal information to resolve the issue, when I said send me a policeman right now and I can talk to them, since I'm not giving you my information over the phone unless I know you are legit, they hung up on me.
