Scam Social Security Benefits Claim (Scam call) reported by


Recording introducing male voice as "Joe" calling about recent Social Security Benefits claim or something similar. Ended the introduction with "can you hear me?" I did not answer. After a few seconds of silence the recording ran again exact same wording ending with "Can you hear me?" I asked who is this, a different male voice came on with a lot of talking noise in the background and answered me with "this is Joe, can you hear me?" I replied take my number off your list and the call ended immediately.

I missed a call from 3013279489 without leaving a message, so i called back and a lady identified herself as Megan ... working for IRS Investigation Department gave me a case number, asking me not to hang up, it's being recorded, and asked if I received local police notice....

Said they were from the IRS and that i had a legal case filed against me. They all were foreign

Same as bikli - left messageon answering machine that I needed to call back immediately or the court would come amd get me. Fraud - IRS only sends letters and you sign for them.
