As others mentioned, the lady called asking for health certificate information. Asked how many doctors worked at our practice and if we saw large animal or just dogs and cats. Then asked for our email address stating she'd send records and call back in 5 minutes to make an appointment. DO NOT GIVE HER ANYTHING. HANG UP.

Called our practice stating that her parents were traveling from Arkansas to Maryland. Asked if we did small animal health certificates, large animal certificates and coggins. Stated her parents were going to be traveling with 3 Gorgis and a horse. Wanted to know if there was only one vet or more than one. Said that she had the vaccine records, asked for the email and stated she would send them via email. Stated she would call back in 5 minutes to get an appointment for all 4 of her animals to be seen. She was very insistent on knowing how many Vets practiced in our office. Something is definitely not right with this caller.

Called twice asking for health certificate information, pricing, scheduling, how many doctors we have and for our email address. Do NOT stay on the line! When I pushed back on the second call she hung up.

Called to inquire about horses and health certificate, was extremely rude if I tried to explain things to the caller. When trying to explain things that were actually important for a visit, caller hung up. Caller talks really fast, definitely sounds like a scam call and will ask for your email.

Called clinic about health certificates. When I told her we didn't do them she said she just moved here and was looking for a vet and a friend recommended us. Then wanted our email address to send records. I told her we did not need records and until the pet was bought in to be seen it was not considered a client. Until its a client she won't get email address

Information phishing targeting veterinary clinics across the US. (Scam call) reported by


Veterinary clinics across the country are receiving scam calls from this number asking for business information from the practices. This is all done under the pretense of someone asking for things on behalf of their grandfather's pet. There is obvious call center chatter in the background, and the person on the other end sounds like a solicitor. When the lady on the other end asked for our email address I hung up.
