"Supremo" -- they will call you and tell you there is something wrong with your computer. Then they will try to get you to download their software and even let you h ave remote access to your computer. when called out on it, they express no shame. They take advantage of people who don't know any better and they are dirtbags.

Caller id himself as Alex Walker with Microsoft. I could tell by the talker echo that this was an international call. A call to this number could not be completed.

He said my computer had a virus and he was going to help me. I told him that was recording his call and asked him to provide a good call back number to the "Microsoft Tech Support Office" .. he hung up.

The impersonated Microsoft technical support. Claimed that my computer generates errors and demanded that I work with them remotely to fix the problem. My computer could not generate anything being off.

Got a call from an indian man claiming to be from Microsoft saying he detected a dangerous virus on my computer. Knew it was a scam cause he didn't mention my name or say what computer had the issue. Just said I didn't own any computers.

Same Indian guy just called me and said same thing. Knew it was a scam because he never mentioned my name, and couldn't answer me when asked if he was in the US and where was his ofc and how did he obtain my info. We really need to STOP THESE CALLERS!!!

This is a scam. Indian man claims to be from Microsoft and is telling you that your computer has a virus. Microsoft doesn't call people!!!! These scammers try to get you to allow them access to your computer so they can INSTALL a virus, then demand you pay them $100s of dollars to remove it. Besides, how can they know which computer has the problem and how do they know it belongs to you? Just call him a liar and hang up. Or waste his time for a while by faking that you believe him.

I let him get through his 5 minute scare speech, then tell him I don't have any computers running Windows. I run Linux. I'm an IT professional. He hangs up. LMAO
