received a call from this number asking for my son regarding legal documents and a complaint with Harris County and they are escalating the complaint due to failure to respond and actions could already be taking place, left a phone number of 866-621-3351 and a case # and it was urgent he call within 24 hrs. So it's from this 281-824-3245 number but they are leaving the 866 # to call. I didn't try calling the 281 #, instead came online to check both numbers. Didn't pull up anything on the 866 # but pulled up all these other complaints on the 281 #. So I'm leaving my comments. Should I be worried? From comments I hope it is a scam.

received call from this number stating she was calling from the National Processing Services to confirm if I was going to be home today to have a letter delivered from a complaint filed against me in Webb county. Call is coming from ALVIN TX, asked her where she was calling again and asked to give me a number where I could call back she gave a case # and the phone 866 552 2675 to call back to. I call back with my number protected, only sounds busy then call hangs up.

Fraud call. Claimed to be a Fort Bend County employee threatening (Unsolicited call) reported by


Woman claimed to be a dispatcher for the Fort Bend County Courthouse. Made threats, had invalid information, etc. I never confirmed who I was so how could she threaten me with legal action if she didn't confirm who she was talking to? She is a call center representative for a collection agency passing itself off as a "legal" firm. Fraud all around and in violation of multiple laws in the county and state. Girl, BYE.

A si called Stacy from 281-824-3245 called me and 3 other family members within minutes of each other, claiming she had legal notice for one of us and threatening legal action by the end of the afternoon. Told us to call 866-840-0383.

Called looking for my brother in law, saying they had a legal notice to serve him in Cameron Co. (which is where he lives). We don't even have the same last name, how are they linking him to me? I live in the Alvin area, which is where the call is coming from. My BIL says they have called several family members threatening to serve papers (for weeks now). They have even talked to him trying to get information from him, which he will not give them...and nothing happens.

Same thing has happened to us the past couple of days. Exact scenario trying to get in touch with my father for legal action. "Melissa" didn't like my responses yesterday when I actually answered her call.

I called the call back number and they said they would remove my number since the name of the person they were trying to reach was not me and I had no clue who the person was...but a quick google search revealed they are a business owner in this county.
