Called this number back and got a recorded answer saying it was "Accounts Capital Solutions." I have never dealt with them. They threatened that I am the subject of an investigation. How - when I don't owe anyone. Also, I've gotten this same call for months now. If I truly I being served, wouldn't it have happened by now?

Hi Everyone, By chance does anyone who received this call ever have any dealings with CheckSmart or Community Choice Financial in the past? I ask because this number called me and the two people i used as references back when i took out a pay day loan about 7-8 years ago. I never went delinquent on the loan and never had any further dealings with the company. But I am sure this is no coincidence.

Pre-recorded message informing I am being investigated for several civil matters. Threatens will be verifying my current address and place of employment. I can stop all proceedings and summons if I call back and speak with the plantiff and come to an agreement for payment on these several legal issues against me. I am currently working with the ONLY people who would have a legal claim against me and have been making on time payments to them. Scam. Beware. Don't answer. Any place you truly have a debt with will already have information on you and not need to threaten you. Being served and sued for a debt isn't the end of the world. All places you have a debt with will verify via mail the validity of the debt and will often try to work a reasonable payment plan with you. They CANNOT send police to your house and will never threaten to do so if legitimate.

They claim they were contacting my current employer and summons me to court and that I needed to call the plaintiff before this went further at 270-216-4301 never mentions any company's name or anything just my name.

I have gotten a call from another number who left this number on my voicemail. If you were truly being served, the company in question would not call you prior and say they are verifying your info, they would just do it and send the summons. I have had judgments against me in the past so I am familiar with the proper legal process. They called my son and first asked for the wrong name then they called back. He just said they had the wrong number. If at any point in time you have ever taken a payday loan from any company associated with ACE check cashing and defaulted, what they did is sold the debt to several companies and once they were paid off they never notified the companies who collected the debt and that it was settled so every two years or so the calls start and they are trying to collect money already collected. At this point it is a scam.

My 19 yr old daughter received a call from this number and immediately called me concerned over what she owed someone. She forwarded the message to me and I told her not to worry about it. Just another number to block, crazy that this type of call is so common now.

A robot informs you that you are a "person of interest" and that multiple complaints are pending and you must contact the plaintiff, or else a complaint will be filed today. The caller ends by saying "This is your official notification". The call is bogus. You have never done business in Kentucky. The phone call does not ask for you by name. How does the caller know this is the correct phone number? Why do you have to answer today? Only to scare you. "Official notifications" are not made by recorded message, nor are they left on voice mail. Relax. Don't be scared. It's a scam. They don't know who you are.

Basically my complaint is the same as the other lady's. I have received calls like this before, so I knew it was a scam. They would've at least left a case number, the name of the company suing, and other vital info. If you receive a call from them, don't panic, it's not real. You and I both know that if there's a lot suit being filed against us, we'd first get written notification. Either you're being served or you're receiving the it in the mail. Don't panic, you're good.

My sister-in-law got an automated call today that said the call was for me. A voice mail message was left on her cell phone, threatening me with an investigation on "several collection matters" and that a case was being filed against me in my county and that my employment and other info was being verified today. Sounded like a legal threat, but they were very careful with their words. It's a scam for sure and it's very upsetting that they got my in-law's cell phone number.

Received a message on my work phone that I was the elicit subject of and investigation and that a formal complaint was being filed on me. My name was mentioned specifically and left on my work phone. This call comes from different numbers but shows up as SCAM LIKELY on caller ID. The Voicemail is always the same. A generic message stating today they will be verifying my information, employment etc and to call this number to speak with the Plaintiff. If they are verifying my number that day, how come I have received this call so much over the last few months? Tired of this!

I just got the same voicemail yesterday 8/17/17. It said I was being investigated for several claims. Then they wanted me to call this . At the end shed said consider yourself served. Lol. You can't serve someone on a voicemail.
