The first thing they asked me was: "Do you owe more than 2k in your credit card". I asked who they are and how they got my phone number. The guy claimed he is Aiden and he doesn't call us,. Their corporate office initiates the call and when I press 1 it gets routed to them. So I asked, "hoe to THEY get my call". He hung up on me. They are first ones to call and ask questions but they get irritated when you ask them questions

Doesnt leave message. Cannot return the call. says the number your calling has changed or is out of service. i was going to try and be removed by pressing 1 as someone suggested. Not an option.

Credit card phishing scam. Do not talk to these people at all. Don't bother to have your number removed from their "list". They'll just call back under a different number.

I have no idea why anyone would give info or listen to a sales pitch on THEIR phone. What happen to just hang up? NEVER buy anything on a call you did not initiate. Pretty simple. Don't love telebugs but I think people need a job so I just hang up. It sounds like some people prefer playing games... yes and I have called back when they call more than two times..and pressing 1 has taken me off the list, although it took a couple days to happen. WHAT I HATE IS CALLS THAT COME IN WITHOUT A NUMBER OR ANYTHING - for sure you know those are scams.

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar numbers called me recently, probably the same marketing company? Mostly the numbers from this range - 26729148xx - are reported as Google listing or home security systems = telemarketing spam. People please did someone answer it? Who is it? I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for call centres). No problems.

SCAM Nov12-15 - Called to offer to lower credit card interest to 1%, and that this call was the 'last notice'. Figured it was a scam right away, but I like to appear to play ball to see how their scam unfolds, until of course they ask for personal information. Some pretty sly tricks - they ask for your expiry date first in order to 'verify' your identity, then I'm sure they'll move into asking the card #. I asked what credit card they were calling regarding, in his poor English, he basically mumbled everything from CIBC, visa, mastercard, TD, and some others, basically scanning/phishing for me to offer him the answer when I picked up on a word. When I told him I had more than one credit card, and I needed him to tell me what one he was calling about so that I could give him my expiry date, he hung up. When I called them back, I got an automated answer "If you would like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you please press 1 now.", no options to actually connect with anyone. I'll be reporting this to: http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca/index-eng.htm - if you get a call from them, especially if you fell for this, please do the same. Let's get behind these f*ckers and put a stop to this crap.
